Homemade Brown Sugar

To make your own brown sugar just follow these very easy and quick steps:

To make light brown sugar:

In a medium mixer bowl combine 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 tbs of molasses( my favorite is Brer Rabbit available on Amazon https://amzn.to/47ZeR4U ). Mix thoroughly until very well combined.

That’s it!! Super simple and a recipe saver when you suddenly realize you have no brown sugar in your pantry.

If your looking for a darker more robust brown sugar, simply add 2 tbs of molasses and follow the same directions.

Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container or bag.
